Each month will focus on a new colour and each box will contain:

    • 1.5 - metres of fabric - this could be in 2 lengths, 6 fat quarters or a mixture of options. Fabric selection will not contain solids that are in the Endangered collection.
    • 1 - Posca acrylic paint pen
    • 1 - Additional art drawing product - this could be a Fabrico Pen, another Posca Pen, an Ink Pad or an Artists pen 
    • 1 - bottle FW Acrylic Ink*
    • 1 - reel Rasant thread*
    • 1 - secret item - this will relate to the technique being taught

You will be challenged to create a small piece of textile art in your own style, with your own skills!

When does it start?

This all kicks off in January 2023!

How do the payments work:
- the first payment is taken on your initial order.
- there are 3 payment plans for the Rainbow box to choose from..
         - monthly subscription or
         - pay the full year in advance (equates to one free month)
         - we are also offering a monthly digital only subscription.
- monthly payments will be processed on the 10th of each month prior.

 

Busy?!
- Hey, no problem.  You can start this series whenever your want and you can cancel anytime**
- This is a no pressure series! If you get busy one month, then just build your stash and not feel pressured to create.
- This challenge is about you - for you - and if you don't want to do something.. you don't have too!

Designed by Brenda Wood, an award winning textile artist of 20+ years, specifically for the artful quilter & textile artist.

In 2022 Brenda developed the textile technique series WORKSHOP IN A BOX which was a monthly subscription with a new workshop each month, hosted by a different tutor and different project.  Each month the original series was a full online workshop with a product 'taster' box that related to the workshop requirements.

In 2023 we are switching it up and each month you will get shown a 'taster' technique and a box FULL of fabulous products suited to every arty quilter!
The Rainbow Stash Builder builds your stash and your textile toolkit.
You will be encouraged to create and share or just admire your Rainbow Builder Stash!

 

More on the colour challenge:

  • The challenge will be based on the months colour. You will be supported and inspired to create using topics and skills that will show your OWN artistic style.
  • The size will be small.  You will set your own size, but we suggest something small and manageable like 8" x 8"
  • The topics will be chosen by you.  Create a series based on 1 subject to tell a full story, or be spontaneous and create with whatever inspires you at the time!

  • Incorporate the new months technique if you choose.

  • The challenge is not a compulsory. 

  • Create 1 months piece.. or a full series worth.

  • Feel free to create.

  • Feel free to just be inspired!
